BACK IN THE DRIVERS SEAT

OK, after great success on my College Capstone Project and Podcasting, I have decided, to continue my Blog Posts. The adventure has to continue! I have decided in picking-up a handheld Sony voice recorder, and make the transition from studio dungeon into the world outside. I have also come to realize that podcasting is a great marketing and potential money making tool. I have decided to turn the corner from the technical realm, advancing ever closer towards a narrative journey. Together we will employ this new technology; and build a successful, profitable relationship with it. I have a strong educational background in Broadcasting, and strong, very strong, interest-particularly radio. I have decided to use podcasting as a tool, and demonstrate how it can turn a simple business idea into a golden Trophy. Pass along any suggestions, as a start my internet radio station and realize my dreams

Podcasting Moving Technology

While reading and article today, regarding Podcasting, I was surprised that there are approximately 20 Million Podcast available today. Twenty Million! That is an increase of Three Million in the last 5 months. If you want to be successful, it is extremely important to have a clear decisive message and know who your audience is. This might allow you to profit financially. Looking and reading books, on writing for broadcasting or Media (mostly radio), can be very helpful.

However, coming from a Broadcast background still hooked on cool edit pro or better known as audition 1.5. Check out this site for hosting www.libsyn.com or Podbean.

After finding a host for your podcast utilizing feed-burner as an intermediary is strongly encouraged. The will allow the creator greater control in the future in changing there hosting provider. This also allow the feed located in the ITunes directory to remain unchanged, increasing opportunities for subscriber's to locate the feed more readily.
